FontFiend

The complete manual for them most advanced Font Editor for RISC OS.

FontFiend generates all characters for a font based upon an encoding file. The standard encodings are:

Latin 1
Danish, Dutch, English, Faroese, French, German, Icelandic, Irish, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish & Welsh.

Latin 2
Albanian, Croatian, Czech, English, German, Hungarian, Polish, Rumanian, Slovak, Slovene & Swedish.

Latin 3
Afrikaans, English, Esperanto, French, Gaelician, German, Italian, Maltese & Turkish.

Latin 4
Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Irish, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish & Turkish.

Custom Encodings
FontFiend not only supports the encodings listed above (which are built into the application) but any latin custom encoding you drop into the encoding window. As you can see from the list above no single font includes the letters for both Esperanto & Spanish. You could make your own custom encoding which includes both and then generate a font with the required letters. See the section in the manual on importing encoding files.

FontFiend does not support any non latin encoding. This includes Cyrillic (Russian) and some Symbolic fonts that have specific non Latin encoding tables.
